Abstract

Prevalensi Egg Worm of Nemtoda Intestine of Soil Transmited Helmint (STH) With Method Concentration at student of MI Sunan Ampel 1 Sidorogo-Trosobo District Taman Subdistrict Sidoarjo East Java Province Yesi Eka Nur Kumala Dewi Email: [email protected] ABSTRACT Helminthiasis become a health problem in the community estimated 819 million people were infected with Ascaris lumbricoides, 464.6 million people were infected with Trichuris trichiura and 438.9 million people were infected with Hookworm. Determination the prevalence of Nematode intestinal Soil Transmited Helmin (STH) worm eggs using concentration methods have been evaluated in MI Sunan Ampel 1 students in Sidorogo, Taman District, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java Province. Description of the methods and result are using past tense this research is a descriptive method research with cross selectional research design. The sampling technique used total sampling which met the inclusion criteria as many as 25 MI Sunan Ampel 1 students from grades 1-3 SD. Research subjects who agreed to informed consent were carried out by stool examination. Research shows that out of 100 students who carried out stool examination as many as 25 students, and in this study found the prevalence of Ascaris lumbricoides STH worm infection was 44%. Significant relationship was obtained between the habit of washing hands before eating or after defecation with STH infection. Ascaris lumbricoides worm infection is the highest infection in respondents in elementary school MI Sunan Ampel 1, having its address at Sidorogo Village, Taman District, Sidoarjo Regency.
